Grindelwald Residents' Group Grindelwald Residents' Group (GRG) consists of residents living in Grindelwald, Tasmania, and was formed to help strengthen our community, protect the integrity of Grindelwald in the present and into the future. We have a dedicated group of residents willing to dedicate some of their time for a regular "busy-bee" activity which we have had operating during the warmer months. Some of our projects have been clearing the Isle of Shalom, restoring the bridge, weed eradication, pruning and rabbit extermination. Membership is open to any resident wishing to render support and guidance. We work on the principal that all Grindelwald residents are members if they have submitted their email address to us. GRG is purely a voluntary organisation and no membership fee is required. Small donations from members are occasionally received to cover postage, paper, envelopes etc. To join GRG, please email our secretary davarn@internode.on.net
Grindelwald Residents' Group held its AGM on 21 August 2011 at the Aspect Tamar Resort. The AGM was chaired by the Group's patron, John Watson. Robert Wilson continues as President, Eric Lahra as Vice President, David Broughton as Secretary and Lorraine Greenacre as Treasurer.
